My first SEO job, at Krtya Software.
Nobody trained me. I learned by watching what moved rankings and asking people who’d been at it longer. Half of what I figured out in month one was dead wrong by month six. That’s just what SEO was in 2012.
Then Panda hit. Then Penguin. Rankings that took months to build vanished in a weekend. No course prepared you for that. You fixed it, or you didn’t have a job Monday morning.
That’s the real version. Not “I always had a passion for digital marketing.” I learned this by breaking things on live client sites and figuring out why before the next call.
Industries I’ve Worked Across
600+ clients since 2012. Not one niche, not one playbook. Healthcare and dental practices across the US and Canada. Fintech and wealth platforms like Stockal and Samco Securities. Home services brands, plumbing, flood restoration, relocation. Recruitment agencies with offices in India, the UAE, and the UK. IT and software companies, including Krtya, where this whole thing started back in 2012. Jewellery, D2C retail, education, travel.
Full client list and industry breakdown is on the Portfolio page, if you want to see the range for yourself instead of taking my word for it.
And right now, the game’s changed. Ranking on Google still matters, but it’s not the whole fight anymore. Getting cited inside AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, that’s where a huge chunk of my client work lives now. Bottom-of-funnel keywords pay the bills. Top and mid-funnel content is what feeds people toward those searches in the first place. Skip either half, and you’re either invisible or drowning in traffic that never converts.
