Most agent websites compete with Zillow, Redfin and local portals for the same search terms, and an individual agent will not outrank them for "homes for sale in [city]". The searches an agent can win are narrower: a neighbourhood, a school zone, a buyer question or a seller question in one area.
You know your neighbourhoods and can add real local detail to pages.
Not realistic for a single agent site. I will say so on the call.
I build around those. You get area pages with real local knowledge, a Google profile that earns calls, and lead tracking that shows which page produced a client.
No obligation · 30-minute call · Direct with me, not an account managerBuyers and sellers use Google and portals together. A portal wins listing searches. An agent wins trust searches: who knows this neighbourhood, what a home sells for here, how the process works in this county.
Your future clients search with a place name and a decision attached.
Two risks to check. First, listing feed pages often duplicate content that portals also carry, which can leave them out of Google's results. Second, Google's rules for business profiles limit what you can list. Service-area businesses should hide their address, a business name with added keywords breaks the guidelines, and virtual offices are ineligible. Your brokerage's own policy and your local real estate board's advertising rules can also limit how you present your name and the brokerage.
Reality check. A single agent site on a new domain takes time to earn local rankings. Expect the Google profile and long-tail area pages to move before broad terms do.
