I'm Mansoor Bhanpurawala. I've done SEO since 2014, and I post on LinkedIn. Many clients reach me there. A big following and polished posts do not prove SEO results. This page shows what to check on anyone you find on LinkedIn, me included.
Clicks to the gold-rates page of an Indian fintech platform in about 3 months. A footer hidden from crawlers and 302 redirects were the first fixes.
Monthly visits for a news site after a hack. Revenue went from Rs 5,000 to Rs 12,00,000 a month (client figures). 1.9 years.
Inquiries for an Indian B2B manufacturer, with schema, product page rebuilds and llms.txt in the work. Six months.
Monthly clicks for a US site that fell from about 300 to about 145, then climbed about 2x in three months.
Clicks I cost a client in one month by removing catalog pages without a traffic check. I now run a pre-mortem before any removal.
Clients since 2014, across fintech, SaaS, healthcare, home services, jewellery, education and B2B.
I started in SEO in 2014 and went fully independent in 2020. I hold the Google Analytics (GA4) certification and the Microsoft Advertising Certified Professional credential. Read the full story on my About page.
Posts, followers and polished carousels show effort in content. They do not show effort on your site. Treat the profile as an introduction.
A large audience may reflect a good writing habit. Ask what changed for clients, in numbers they can confirm.
A recommendation from a client who named the work is useful. Generic praise is not.
You are hiring the person who does the work. Ask who audits, plans and checks it.
Hot takes on algorithm changes are cheap to write. Ask what they do when a change drops traffic.
These apply to anyone, including me.
Look for names and specifics.
A scope is the real offer.
SEO should start from your own accounts.
Check the work outside the platform.
Keep control of your accounts.
Many posts repeat buzzwords.
The order stays the same on every engagement. Anything that touches a regulated claim is flagged for your own review before it goes live.
We agree what a good month looks like: qualified enquiries, the services you want more of, and the areas you serve. I ask what your last agency did and what you could measure from it.
Search Console, GA4 and Business Profile access, CMS access, a list of services and locations, and details of any agency work now running. I record clicks, calls and form fills before I change anything.
A written review of your site and Business Profile data, the pages that matter, the competitors that rank and a ranked fix list. You can use it with me or with anyone else.
Priorities by service and location: which pages to fix, build or merge. Anything with a compliance risk is marked for your own review.
If we continue, I write briefs and specs, you or your developer ship changes, and I log each change with its effect.
Monthly report from Search Console, GA4 and the Business Profile: clicks, calls, forms, reviews and what I change next. No ranking screenshots without context.
Ubersuggest, United States, pulled 29 October 2026. These numbers count people searching for "seo consultant linkedin": owners and managers looking for SEO help. They show how established this service is. They do not count your customers.
The cost per click is what advertisers, mostly SEO vendors, bid to reach a LinkedIn business looking for help. A low figure suggests fewer agencies chase this field, so generic pitches are less common and a specialist stands out. The audit looks at the searches your own customers make, which this data does not cover.
If you already pay an agency, use this to question the invoice. Each line should connect to a page or a call.
| Line item | What it should do | What to ask for |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly retainer | Ongoing SEO work. | A written scope and what is reviewed each month. |
| Fixed-price audit | A bounded first step. | The deliverable list and the fix list format. |
| LinkedIn content services | Support the brand, not replace SEO. | What each post is meant to do for enquiries. |
| Link building | Earn links from real sources. | URLs of links won and why each site would link to you. |
| Rank reports | Show where you stand for searches that bring qualified enquiries. | Rankings for service plus area terms, tied to qualified enquiries. |
A report full of impressions and keyword counts says nothing about qualified enquiries. Ask for the count, by month, from organic search.
Followers measure reach. Ask for results on client sites.
A clever thread is not a method. Ask how the audit works.
Without one you cannot compare candidates or judge delivery.
Keep your Search Console, GA4 and CMS in your name.
A ranking for an obscure phrase proves little. Ask for enquiries and traffic data.
Start with an audit. Extend only when you have seen the work.
Data from Google first, third-party estimates second.
I have no published case study that matches this page, so I will not borrow one. These are client properties where I did similar work: new pages, redirects and recovery. Figures come from Google Search Console or the client. Clients agreed to show the data and asked me to keep their names out.
The B2B manufacturer lost 23% of clicks in one month after a catalog cleanup I did not test first. It happened again three months later. I report it because a case study with only upward lines is marketing, not proof.
Each chart draws the confirmed start and end values from Search Console as bars. They are not daily data and show no curve in between. Exact monthly values come from the CSV exports. Search Console measures clicks and impressions, not revenue. Each property had several kinds of work running at once, so no chart isolates one service. Client names are withheld at their request. Screenshots available on a call.
Calls, forms and chats from organic search, counted in GA4 and call tracking.
Search Console clicks and impressions for the pages I change.
Calls, direction requests and website clicks from the Business Profile.
New reviews each month, by location.
Whether your business is named for a fixed set of questions about SEO consulting found through LinkedIn, checked monthly.
I cannot promise a position on Google or a set number of qualified enquiries. If a KPI does not move, I say so and change the plan.
| Solo consultant (me) | SEO agency | Task-based freelancer | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who does the work | The person you talk to. I audit, plan and check the work myself. | A team, with an account manager as your contact. | One person, often between other jobs. |
| Industry rules | I flag risky claims and leave the final call to you and your adviser. | Usually a generic review step. | Rarely any review step. |
| Accountability | One person owns the plan and the result. | Shared across a team. | Owns the task, often not the outcome. |
| Reporting | Monthly from Search Console, GA4 and the Business Profile, written by me. | Dashboard plus a call. | Varies from none to a spreadsheet. |
| Contracts | Monthly. You can leave when it stops working. | Often long terms with set-up fees. | Per project or hourly. |
| Best fit | People who found an seo consultant on linkedin that want senior attention. | Large groups needing PR, video and ads at scale. | One-off fixes. |
The person who finds a problem on your site should be the person who checks that it is fixed.
I work with clients in India and abroad over video calls, WhatsApp and email.

Read recommendations for names and specifics, ask for a written scope, ask how they use Search Console and GA4, and check how their own site ranks for what it sells. Do not choose on followers.
It shows reach and writing habit. It does not show SEO results, so ask for data from client sites.
It can be, if you start with a small, fixed-scope audit, keep ownership of your accounts and avoid prepaying a long contract.
Yes. You can message me on LinkedIn, WhatsApp or by email. I start with a first look, then a written scope.
LinkedIn posts do not directly rank your site. They can help people and assistants find your brand, and links and mentions from LinkedIn can be one signal among many. I would not rely on it.
A LinkedIn SEO consultant helps your business show up in Google, the map pack and AI answers when people search for SEO consulting found through LinkedIn. I fix service pages, the Google Business Profile, reviews, tracking and technical issues, and report on qualified enquiries, not just rankings.
It depends on how weak the site is and how strong local competitors are. Business Profile and tracking fixes can show effects within weeks. New pages usually need a few months. I set expectations in the audit and report monthly. Nobody can promise a date.
No. Nobody controls Google, and an agency that guarantees a position should explain what happens when it misses. I promise a ranked plan, honest monthly reports and changes when the data says the plan is not working.
Yes. I work with clients in India and abroad. Rules, directories and search habits differ by country, so I check them for each market before planning pages.
Search Console, GA4 and Business Profile access, CMS access, a list of services and locations, and details of any agency work now running.
