Real Estate Agents & Brokerages

Real Estate SEO Consultant

Most agent websites compete with Zillow, Redfin and local portals for the same search terms, and an individual agent will not outrank them for "homes for sale in [city]". The searches an agent can win are narrower: a neighbourhood, a school zone, a buyer question or a seller question in one area.

Best fit: Agents and small teams with a defined area

You know your neighbourhoods and can add real local detail to pages.

Not a fit: Agents wanting to outrank the big portals nationwide

Not realistic for a single agent site. I will say so on the call.

I build around those. You get area pages with real local knowledge, a Google profile that earns calls, and lead tracking that shows which page produced a client.

Why This Matters Here

Agents Compete With Portals, So Pick Fights You Can Win

Buyers and sellers use Google and portals together. A portal wins listing searches. An agent wins trust searches: who knows this neighbourhood, what a home sells for here, how the process works in this county.

Your future clients search with a place name and a decision attached.

Two risks to check. First, listing feed pages often duplicate content that portals also carry, which can leave them out of Google's results. Second, Google's rules for business profiles limit what you can list. Service-area businesses should hide their address, a business name with added keywords breaks the guidelines, and virtual offices are ineligible. Your brokerage's own policy and your local real estate board's advertising rules can also limit how you present your name and the brokerage.

Reality check. A single agent site on a new domain takes time to earn local rankings. Expect the Google profile and long-tail area pages to move before broad terms do.

What's Included

What a real estate SEO consultant actually does

Five work blocks, each scoped before start.

01

Neighbourhood and area pages

One page per area you serve, built from real local knowledge: streets, schools, commute, market feel, recent activity. No copy-paste statistics.

02

Buyer and seller guide pages

Pages for the first-time buyer, the relocating buyer, the seller deciding when to list, with local process steps and cost items.

03

Google profile and reviews

The right profile setup for an agent or brokerage, categories, photos and a review request after each closing.

04

Listing feed review

Check whether listing pages help or hurt, and fix indexing so thin duplicates do not dilute the site.

05

Lead tracking

Form, call and chat events in GA4 with source reporting, so you see which page produced an inquiry.

Where my proof stands. There is no published real estate case study with numbers yet, and I will not borrow another industry's results to fill the gap. The 100+ local SEO projects above are the evidence for the method, and the free call includes a look at your own site so you can judge it before you pay.

Closest published proof: the jewellery case study covers a high-consideration purchase with long research cycles. The industry differs, so read it for the method, not as a result for your field.

Before You Hire Anyone

What to actually check on a real estate SEO consultant

Run this against anyone you're evaluating, including me.

Ask how listing pages are handled. Thin feed pages can hold a site back. Ask the vendor to explain indexing.
Ask who writes neighbourhood copy. Someone who has never worked in the area cannot add real local detail.
Check the Google profile plan. Naming rules and address rules decide whether the profile survives.
Ask for inquiries by source. Visits do not pay. Ask for lead counts.
Check your brokerage's marketing policy. Many brokerages set rules for how agents advertise.

Frequently Asked

Real Estate SEO Consultant: frequently asked

Does SEO work for real estate agents?

It can, for local and long-tail searches. It is unlikely to beat the large portals on listing searches.

What does real estate SEO cost with you?

SEO services start at ₹40,000 a month and Google Business Profile only work starts at ₹15,000 a month. The final price turns on areas you serve. You get a written Statement of Work after the free call.

How long does it take?

Profile and local page changes can show up in a few months. Broad terms take much longer, if they come at all.

Should I use an IDX site?

It depends on whether those pages are indexed as thin duplicates. I check this in the audit.

Do I need a profile as an agent and as a brokerage?

Google's rules limit profiles to real locations and eligible businesses. I check what applies to you.

Is real estate eligible for Local Services Ads?

Google's US Local Services Ads list real estate among eligible categories, billed per lead. It is separate from SEO.

Can you write area pages?

Yes, from interviews and your local knowledge. I will not invent local facts.

Will you follow board and brokerage advertising rules?

I flag common risks. Your board and brokerage make the final call.

Is there a real estate case study?

Not yet. The 100+ local SEO projects behind this page are the evidence for the method, and the free call includes a look at your own site.

How do you get reviews?

A request after closing to real clients, following platform rules.

Can AI tools recommend me?

I can improve the odds that AI tools describe your agent site correctly, mainly through neighbourhood pages built on local facts only you know. No one controls AI answers, and they change over time.

What do you need?

Search Console, GA4, CMS, profile access and your local market knowledge.
