What is the Brand Tone of Voice Analyzer?
The Brand Tone of Voice Analyzer measures how a piece of copy reads on five style traits and compares it with another text, for example your guide versus a draft.
It is built for brand owners, writers and marketers who need to check whether new copy matches the voice they want.

Brand Tone of Voice Analyzer compared with other free tools
I compared this with the tone of voice auditor on elysiatools.com, read from its page on 22 October 2026.
| Check | This tool | elysiatools.com |
|---|---|---|
| Inputs | Two texts, compared side by side | A text to audit and an optional brand reference of about 50 words |
| Output | Five trait scores for each text and the gap per trait | A 0 to 100 deviation score when a brand reference is given, and a four-axis analysis |
| Per-trait gap table | Yes | Not mentioned |
| Single deviation score | No | Yes, per the page |
| Signup | None | Not stated on the page |
Where they are ahead: elysiatools.com gives one deviation score against a brand sample. This tool shows the gap on each trait and has no overall score.

What the Brand Tone of Voice Analyzer cannot do
- This tool scores your text with word counts and simple rules in your browser. It does not use AI, and the scores describe patterns in the text, not quality.
- Short samples swing a lot, so test with at least a few paragraphs.
- Word counting misses sarcasm, context and quality.
- The five traits are not a brand framework. Use them next to your own brand guide.
- Do not read a high score as good copy.
Is my text or data sent anywhere?
Your text is processed in your browser and is not sent to this site or any other server. The Save button keeps snapshots in your own browser storage. The share link puts your input in the part of the URL after the # sign, which browsers do not send to servers, but anyone you give the link to can read it.
