Home service businesses sell trust before skill. A homeowner lets you into the house, so the first page they see needs a face, a licence, a review count and a clear promise about what happens next.
You sell several services in the same area and need to decide which pages earn their keep.
Trust signals carry this category. If they are missing, fix that before marketing.
This page covers general contractors, remodelers, restoration firms, cleaners, landscapers and multi-trade services. If you run one trade only, the plumber, HVAC, electrician or roofing page may fit closer.
No obligation · 30-minute call · Direct with me, not an account managerA contractor who offers kitchens, bathrooms, decks and roofing often has one "Services" page. Google cannot rank that page for four different searches. Each service needs its own page, with its own proof and next step.
Homeowners search for the job and the town.
Google's Local Services Ads cover contracting categories in the US, with per-lead billing and business verification. For the profile, choose one primary category that matches your main revenue and use secondary categories for the rest. Licensing rules for contractors differ by state, so I only write pages for work you are licensed to do. A 24/7 water damage service I worked on, EZ Flood Restoration, shows the pattern for urgent home work: a fast page, a clear phone number and proof of response.
Risk to know. Adding every possible service to a Google profile or website can dilute relevance. Prioritise the three services that make the most profit.

Proof I can show. I worked on EZ Flood Restoration (24/7 water damage and flood restoration) and EZ Leak Detection, both in Southern California. I have no published numbers for either, so I do not quote any. General contractors and remodelers are covered by the same method, but I have no named site to show for them.
Closest published proof: the two sites above, described without figures. The B2B manufacturer case study shows how I handle lead quality, though in a different industry.
Four published case studies across industries. Read the full numbers and method.
Every name here is a client I worked with directly.
