Cosmetic surgery is a considered purchase. Patients research a procedure for months, read reviews on third-party sites, compare before and after galleries and often shortlist surgeons before they search your name. Patients tend to search by procedure first and the surgeon second, so procedure pages carry most of the weight.
You can show credentials, have patient photo consent and want a measured presence.
Cosmetic surgery advertising is closely watched. I will not write claims you cannot support.
I build procedure pages, directory profiles and a trust layer that supports a decision made over weeks.
No obligation · 30-minute call · Direct with me, not an account managerA patient may read for months before booking a consultation. They compare surgeons on credentials, results, reviews and the feeling a consultation gives. Your site supports that decision, but third-party sites often shape it.
Procedure pages matter more than a page about you. Search results for this niche show professional-body and review-site profiles, such as ASPS Connect, RealSelf and Healthgrades, so keep those profiles accurate.
Claims need care. The FTC's 2024 rule on fake reviews bans fake or AI-generated reviews, buying reviews for a set sentiment and undisclosed insider reviews, with civil penalties possible. Before and after photos need written patient consent and should not mislead. Medical advertising rules vary by country and state, and Google treats health pages as topics where accuracy matters most. Google's Local Services Ads category list for the US does not include plastic surgeons.
Risk to know. Review rules and photo consent are the two fastest ways to damage a cosmetic practice's reputation. Treat them as legal requirements, not marketing choices.
