SaaS & B2B Software

SaaS SEO Consultant

Most SaaS sites rank for their own name and little else. Branded traffic looks healthy in a report, but it only brings people who already know you. Growth needs non-branded searches: the problem a buyer types before they know your product exists.

Best fit: Early and growth-stage B2B SaaS

You have a clear ICP, a product that solves a searchable problem and a way to track signups.

Not a fit: Products with no search demand

If buyers do not search for the problem, SEO will not create demand. I will say so after keyword research.

I build ICP pages, comparison and use-case pages, and answer content that AI assistants can quote. I also report what did not work, because SaaS SEO has setbacks and the reports should show them.

Why This Matters Here

SaaS Growth Comes From Non-Branded Search, And Branded Traffic Hides The Gap

A SaaS site can show rising clicks while non-branded growth sits at zero, because most traffic is people searching the product name. A mix of branded and non-branded reporting shows which is which.

Your buyers search the problem: "how to automate invoice reminders", "best accounting software for small businesses".

SaaS SEO also has failures. In the case study below, branded clicks and homepage clicks fell while non-branded grew, and two of eight ICP pages underperformed. The cause of the branded decline is not confirmed, and the case study says so. If an agency promises steady upward lines, ask to see the segments.

Honest reporting

Risk to know. Registration-page clicks are not signups. In my case study I report 67 registration-page clicks as clicks, not as signups.

Proof I can show, with limits. In the published case study for an anonymous accounting SaaS in India, from 1 November 2025 to 28 February 2026 against July to October 2025, non-branded clicks rose from 0 to 445 and non-branded impressions from 0 to 52,300. Total clicks rose from 3,980 to 4,480 (+12.6%). The site received 104 AI-assistant visits, 62 from ChatGPT, and 67 clicks on the registration page. Those are clicks, not signups. Branded clicks fell 31% and homepage clicks fell 26.4%, and the cause is not confirmed. Two of eight ICP pages underperformed.

What to actually check on a saas SEO consultant

Run this against anyone you're evaluating, including me.

Ask for the branded and non-branded split. A total that hides the split can hide a lack of growth.
Ask for signups, not sessions. Clicks to the registration page are not accounts.
Ask what did not work. Any honest vendor can name a failure.
Check comparison page honesty. Pages that never admit a rival's strength do not persuade.
Check AI-visibility claims. Ask how they measure it and how often results change.

Frequently Asked

SaaS SEO Consultant: frequently asked

Does SEO work for SaaS?

It can, when buyers search for the problem your product solves. If they do not, SEO will not create demand.

What does SaaS SEO cost with you?

SEO services start at ₹40,000 a month and Google Business Profile only work starts at ₹15,000 a month. The final price turns on ICPs and use cases. You get a written Statement of Work after the free call.

How long does it take?

In my case study, non-branded clicks appeared within the four-month window, but SaaS timelines vary. I will not promise a date.

Is your SaaS case study real?

Yes. The client is anonymous. Figures come from Search Console and GA4 for the stated periods.

What went wrong in the case study?

Branded clicks fell 31% and homepage clicks fell 26.4%. Two of eight ICP pages underperformed. The cause of the branded decline is not confirmed.

Are 67 registration clicks signups?

No. They are clicks to the registration page. I do not report them as signups.

Do you do link building for SaaS?

Digital PR starts at ₹10,000 a month and covers earned mentions, not bought links.

What about AI search?

In the case study, the site had 104 AI-assistant visits, 62 from ChatGPT. No one controls whether AI tools mention you.

Do you write the content?

I structure and write it, with your team checking product accuracy.

Can you work with my product team?

Yes. Product input matters for use-case and comparison pages.

Do you run ads?

No. Paid search for a product is a separate budget and skill, and I do not manage ad accounts under this service.

What do you need?

Search Console, GA4, CMS access, and a product contact for accuracy checks.
